Universal woman great britain

Natalie Mageza, 26, from Staffordshire, wowed the judges at the very first Universal Woman Great Britain finals in Chorley and became Great Britain’s first ever winner for the Universal Woman Pageant.

Natalie is a mother to an adorable three year old boy, and she is currently studying Policing and Criminal investigation at university – she hopes to be a homicide detective in the near future!

Natalie moved from Zimbabwe as a refugee at age 13 and shortly after arriving to the UK, she was taken into the care system. Natalie has two incredible foster parents, and hopes to be an inspiration to other children in the care system.

Natalie started competing in pageants in 2018 after being scouted at a dance show. Natalie has a Project called Teacher (Teach-Her) that aims to educate communities about gender-based violence and support the incredible charities that help women and children take their first steps towards independence.

Gender based violence is an issue that affects women globally, and she hopes that bringing her project to the Universal Woman stage will bring more attention to this issue and give hope to victims that someone out there is speaking up for them.

As part of Natalie’s prize package for winning the Universal Woman Great Britain crown, she won herself a trip to the international finals to compete in the Universal Woman Pageant. Previous finals have been held in Cambodia and Dubai and we are so excited to see where Natalie will be jetting off to!
